🌱 Child & Adolescent Assessment Packages
- Every child learns, grows, and experiences the world differently. Our assessments are designed to help you understand your child’s unique strengths and challenges — and to give you clear, practical steps to support them at home and at school.
- Our experienced psychologists use trusted, evidence-based tools and take the time to really get to know your child.
💡 Cognitive & Learning Assessments
- If your child is struggling at school or not reaching their full potential, a Cognitive & Learning Assessment can help uncover what’s going on beneath the surface.
- We look at how your child thinks, learns, and processes information to identify their strengths and any areas where extra support might be needed.
What’s involved:
- Cognitive (IQ) testing – e.g., WISC-V
- Academic skills testing – e.g., WIAT-II
- Memory, attention, and processing tasks
- Questionnaires for parents and teachers e.g. Connors 4 or Connors CBRS
- A comprehensive report with recommendations for school and home
Helpful for:
- Learning difficulties in reading, writing, or maths
- Giftedness or underachievement
- School support and funding applications
- Timeframe: 2–4 sessions of assessment/testing + report + feedback (typically over 3-6 weeks)
- Cost: $2200
⚡ ADHD Assessments
- If your child has trouble concentrating, staying organised, or managing their energy levels, an ADHD assessment can help make sense of these challenges.
- Our process explores your child’s attention, focus, and behaviour across different settings — so you can understand their needs and find the right supports.
What’s involved:
- Interviews with parents and child
- Questionnaires for parents and teachers
- Review of developmental and school history
- A detailed report with diagnosis (if appropriate) and next steps
You’ll gain:
- Clarity about your child’s attention profile
- Practical strategies for home and school
- Recommendations for supports and resources
- Timeframe: ~3–5 sessions spanning 4-8 weeks including testing, report writing and feedback
- Cost: $1400
💬 Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Assessments
- If you’ve noticed differences in your child’s social communication, routines, or behaviour, an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) assessment can help you understand why — and how to best support them. Our psychologists provide gentle, child-friendly assessments to explore your child’s social, emotional, and developmental profile.
What’s involved:
- Parent interview (e.g., ADI-R or developmental history)
- Direct play-based assessment with your child (e.g., ADOS-2)
- Cognitive and adaptive functioning assessments
- Questionnaires from parents and teachers
- A clear, detailed report and feedback session
You’ll gain:
